ABOUT NEXT STEP THEATER GROUP

Next Step Theater was founded by a group of rookie actors who met in continuing education classes at a local community college. After a few successful performances, they had a wild idea to start a not-for-profit theater. They hired directors who would take extra time, show great patience, and continue their education by preparing these young actors for real shows. Those founders and directors have moved on, but their legacy remains. Each member comes to the organization at a different level, with varying degrees of skills and experience. As an ensemble, we continue to help each other take the "next step".
